WHH is operational in Nepal since 2012, and is currently managing different project in nine districts under three programme thematic areas (sectors): food and nutrition security; right to food and empowerment; and EQ rehabilitation and disaster risk reduction. Our overall goal is to work hand in hand with civil society in Nepal to empower socially marginalized and economically poor citizens to reinforce their resilience and to ensure their right to adequate food and nutrition.

Welthungerhilfe Nepal announces vacancy for following positions:

1. Head of Project — Food and Nutrition Governance (1 position)

Nepali citizen having Master’s in Agriculture or Public Health with at least a 5 years of experience in managing food and nutrition security projects, coordinating government line agencies and project partners and monitoring and reporting can apply for the position. The position will be based in one of the Terai Districts (Province 2) with frequent field visits.


2.Head of Project — Governance (1 position)

Nepali citizen having Master’s in Social Science or Rural Development with at least a 5 years of experience in managing Governance related projects, coordinating and networking experience with stakeholders and government authorities is required. Knowledge on food and nutrition security or right to food will be an asset. The position will be based in one of the Terai Districts (Province 2) with frequent field visits.


3.Head of Project — WASH and DRR (2 positions)

Nepali citizen having Master’s in Civil Engineering with at least a 5 years of experience in managing the WASH and DRR projects, coordinating and networking experience with stakeholders and government authorities is required.
Experiences on managing rural and community development project will add value to the candidate. The position will be based in one of the Terai Districts (Province 2) with frequent field visits.


4. Finance Officer (1 position)

Nepali citizen having Master’s in Business Studies or Administration or Management with at least a 3 years of sound experience in accounting and financial management of NGO/INGOs, budget formulation, monitoring and capacity building of partners. The position will be based in one of the Terai Districts (Province 2) with frequent field visits.


5. Administration Assistant(1 position)

Nepali citizen having Bachelor’s in Business Studies or Administration with at least a 2 years of experience in administrative/logistics and HR support of NGO/INGOs. This position is based in Country Office, Lalitpur with frequent field visit.
