Role Overview Summary

The National Volunteer – DRR & CSO Accountability Coordinator will work closely with VSO, strategic partners, and implementing partner teams to facilitate the implementation of the ACTIVE (Active Citizenship through Inclusive Volunteering & Empowerment) project. ACTIVE aims to foster inclusive, open, resilient, and gender-equitable societies by supporting transformative changes in thematic priorities of Humanitarian, Health, Climate and Economic Growth for marginalized communities. Till 31 March 2026 with possibility of extension till 31 March 2027.

Allowance and accommodation (House rent if placement is away from home)

All volunteers have an monthly allowance paid in local currency. The allowance meets reasonable living expenses in the placement

VSO works with some of the poorest communities in the world which means accommodation varies and will be basic.
