Established in 1990, Banke UNESCO Club is a non-government organization and registered under the District Administration Office, Banke and affiliated to Social Welfare Council, The establishment of the organization has been inspired by the ideals of non-violence, social justice, self-reliance, sustainable development and volunteerism. The organization is dedicated to the ideals of holistic and integrated development based on a harmonious balance of socio-culture, material, scientific environmental aspects and increase in literacy rate of Disadvantaged, Marginalized, Deprived, and other Poorest of Poorer groups (POP) including women and child by providing quality education. Banke UNESCO Club in partnership with Helen Keller International, is implementing Nutrition For Life- N4L Program in Banke district. The overall purpose of the Nutrition for Life (N4L) project is to combat acute malnutrition among mothers and children under five years old in Nepal and in the Banke district. The initiative will operate in all 8 local governments of Banke, focusing on underserved and marginalized communities. The project will strengthen systems for early detection and treatment of acute malnutrition, improve maternal and newborn nutrition through community-based interventions in align with Government of Nepal’s policy and guideline.
Implementation will involve strategic collaboration with key stakeholders, including FWD/MoHP Provincial Health Directorate, District Health Offices, and local governments. Banke UNESCO Club is inviting applications from interested, qualified and experienced candidates for the following positions to implement the Nutrition for Life project.
Post : Project Coordinator (PC)

Description/Primary Responsibilities
The PC will oversee all activities implemented in Banke District.
The position is specifically responsible to:
- Lead technical implementation of Nutrition for Life by guiding IYCF and IMAM (MAM/SAM) protocols and ensuring alignment with national standards and donor requirements.
- Maintain strong field presence and supportive supervision, spending at least 50% of time in the field for monitoring, facility visits, mentoring, and supervision to enhance service delivery.
- Coordinate for joint monitoring visits and collaboration with province and local governments.
- Plan and ensure timely implementation of project activities through workplans, capacity building, and oversight of screenings, referrals, and community interventions.
- Facilitate capacity building and improve staff competencies by organizing trainings, providing ongoing coaching and skills transfer among field staff.
- Lead reporting, data management, and documentation by preparing accurate monthly/quarterly/annual reports, documenting lessons learned, and supporting monitoring and evaluation processes.
- Ensure financial compliance, accountability and safeguarding
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Nutrition, Nursingor a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in community health, nutrition, or project coordination within NGOs/PNGO settings.
- Strong understanding of IYCF, IMAM, other health and nutrition programs and government health systems.
- Experience in planning, monitoring, supervision, and capacity building.
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.

Post : Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (M&E)

Description/Primary Responsibilities
The M&EO will be responsible for overseeing all data-related activities within the project.
- Verify and report monthly data, ensuring accuracy with proper logs and backup systems.
- Conduct regular field monitoring and quality assurance, including spot checks, DQAs, and corrective feedback for improvement.
- Analyze data and document findings through trend analysis, summaries, visual dashboards, and organized M&E archives.
- Build capacity and provide technical support by mentoring Nutrition Facilitators, training on MEL tools, and addressing skill gaps through onsite coaching.
- Lead evaluation, learning, and coordination by facilitating process evaluations, CLA activities, and aligning reporting with HMIS standards in coordination with local government system.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Statistics, Nursing, Nutrition, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in M&E or data management in health/nutrition programs in Nepal.
- Hands-on experience with HMIS/DHIS2, mobile data platforms (Kobo/ODK), and government reporting systems.
- Demonstrated involvement in data verification, MEL tool testing, and routine monitoring processes.
- Strong Excel skills; ability to generate summary tables, charts, and analysis.
- Understanding of nutrition indicators, screening tools, and community health systems.
- Strong mentoring, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure with strict monthly deadlines.
- Commitment to data quality, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
Post : Finance and Admin Officer (FAO)

Description/Primary Responsibilities
- Record, verify, and update financial transactions, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with organizational policies and national laws.
- Prepare vouchers, maintain ledgers, reconcile accounts, and manage cash/bank transactions.
- Prepare periodic financial reports (e.g., monthly, quarterly, annual) and submit them to management and relevant stakeholders on time.
- Support budget preparation, budget monitoring, and expenditure tracking.
- Ensure timely payroll processing, payment of suppliers, and settlement of advances.
- Maintain proper documentation, filing, and backup of all financial records (both digital and hard copies).
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements, internal control procedures, and statutory obligations (including TDS and tax rules).
- Support internal, external, and donor audits through timely preparation and submission of relevant documents.
- Use financial/accounting software (e.g., FAMAS or similar) to maintain up-to-date accounts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in finance and administration, preferably in NGO/INGO or development projects.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting. budgeting, and audit procedures.
- Experience using accounting software (e.g.. FAMAS, Tally, or similar).
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills in both English and Nepali.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to work under pressure and occasionally outside standard hours.
Post : Nutrition Facilitator

Description/Primary Responsibilities
- Plan & Implement: Support Nutrition for Life activities with local governments; promote mothers’ groups, HH dietary diversity, breastfeeding, IYCF, WASH, and use of digital tools.
- Support FCHVs and health workers for screenings, counseling, and follow-up; assist FCHVs with coaching, orientations, and review meetings.
- Engage with influencers and families to promote healthy diets, breastfeeding, and gender equity; raise awareness on Vitamin A and adolescent IFA.
- Work with local governments and health facilities to improve nutrition services, school meals, and social safety nets, NFLG initiatives.
- Conduct household visits, and screenings submit timely reports, success stories, and promote digital tools.
- Facilitate learning visits and document best practices.
