Position: Accounts Officer

Role Description:

An Accounts Officer in a BMW showroom in Kathmandu handles daily financial actives such as billing, payments, and record-keeping
The role includes preparing financial reports, bank reconciliations, and coordinating with sales and service teams. The officer also supports audits, tax filings, and ensures compliance with VAT and statutory regulations

Qualifications:

At least Bachelors education completed in relevant field or Masters preferred
3-4 years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, taxation, and statutory compliance in Nepal
Proficiency in accounting software (preferably SAP)
Proficiency in MS Office Suite packages
Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal departments and auditors

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the entire import process- Issuance, amendment and negotiation
2. Coordinate with suppliers, banks, logistics, agents and internal departments to ensure smooth execution of import activities
3. Maintain LIC Records, reports and audit ready documents
4. Calculate and Updated the total landed costs of imported goods into the systems with monitor of cost control and exchange rate fluctuation
5. Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile inventory levels
6. Accurately records all financial transactions in the accounting systems
7. Ensure timely filling and payment of VAT, TDS ands other tax obligations as required by laws
