Field Coordinator – 2 positions
Field Assistant – 4 positions

Duration:

Field Coordinator: Minimum 6 months (with possibility of extension)

Field Assistant: Minimum 3 months (with possibility of extension)

About Wild Care Nepal

Wild Care Nepal is a youth-driven, non-profit organization working at the intersection of wildlife research, community engagement, and applied conservation in Nepal. We focus on generating scientific evidence, building local capacity, and supporting community-based conservation initiatives to address pressing biodiversity challenges.

Position: Field coordinator

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a Nepali citizen
  • Graduates (preferably in Environmental Science, Zoology, Forestry, or related fields)
  • Prior field experience in camera trapping, questionnaire surveys, and data management
  • Ability to plan, coordinate and supervise field activities
  • Capacity to conduct extensive fieldwork and community surveys in hilly and remote terrain
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and delivery-oriented mindset

Position: Field Assistant

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a Nepali citizen
  • Undergraduate degree completed or near completion in natural science background (preferably Environmental Science, Zoology, Forestry, or related fields)
  • Prior experience is not mandatory; motivated candidates with interest to learn are encouraged to apply
  • Willingness to work under challenging conditions and follow field protocols
  • Strong communication and team work abilities
