Job Summary:

The Overseer-Electrical shall be responsible for supervising, inspecting, and ensuring the proper execution of electrical works at the project site in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, safety standards, and contractual requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering (3 years course
• 1-2 years of working experience in relevant field (hydropower/infrastructure projects preferred)
• Experience in construction supervision projects is an advantage
• Good knowledge of electrical drawings, installation projects and safety standards
• Ability to work effectively in remote, site-based project environments
• Able to handle responsibility to daily supervision of electrical constructions, installation, testing, and commissioning works
• Ability to inspect powerhouse equipment, panels, and cabling, earthing, lighting, and related systems
• Ensure strict adherence to electrical and site safety requirements
• Able to coordinate with supervisor for the execution of the work
• Good communication skills
• Monitor quality of materials and workmanship; identify and rectify non0conformaties
• Maintain site records, inspection report, test reports, and daily logs
• Commitment to quality, safety, and project deadline
