JOB OPPORTUNITY
United Community Nepal (UniCoN), in partnership with Child Nepal and the European Union Delegation to Nepal, is implementing the Slums to Stadium (S2S) project in Kaski district. The project supports marginalized youth from slum communities through football coaching, sports-based entrepreneurship, and safeguarding initiatives. UniCoN invites applications from qualified and motivated Nepali citizens for the following position:
Position: Program Officer – 1 (Full-Time)
Duty Station: Pokhara, Kaski (with regular field visits)
Duration: 1 January 2026 – 31 December 2026 (possible extension)
Reports to: Project Manager/Executive Director
Salary & Benefits: Attractive salary with benefits including Provident Fund (PF), gratuity, and others.
Key Responsibilities
- Support implementation of project activities and coordinate with Child Nepal Assist in organizing football coaching, youth events, and trainings
- Monitor activities and support reporting and documentation Ensure safeguarding, gender equality, and inclusion across activities Support stakeholder coordination and field monitoring
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Sports Management, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in NGO/INGO, preferably in youth, sports, or community projects
- Strong communication and reporting skills with fluency in Nepali and English
- Willingness to travel frequently
