Compliance & Risk Officer

Position: Compliance & Risk Officer

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with AML/CFT, NRB, and SEBON/NEPSE regulations
• Handle CDD, monitor suspicious transactions, and report to authorities
• Identify and manage key risks across operations
• Assess risks in new proposals and review credit portfolios
• Maintain risk reports and support management tasks

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Bachelor’ s degree (Master’s preferred) with relevant certifications in AML/CFT or risk management
• Minimum 2 years experience in compliance, AML/CFT, risk or audit (financial sector preferred)
• Strong knowledge of NRB directives, AML/CFT, SEBON/NEPSE, and governance norms
• Proficient in Nepali typing with strong time management and problem-solving abilities
• Good analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
