JOB OPPORTUNITY

Our organization is seeking a highly committed and skillful individual to fill the position of Youth Campaigner for a Youth Empowerment and Exchange Programme between Nepal and Luxembourg (YEEP) 2026/27. The successful candidate will play a key role in mobilizing, mentoring, and empowering youths, conducting sessions and workshops, and preparing them for active participation in project activities.

Job Station: Bethanchowk Rural Municipality-2, Kavrepalanchowk

Project Duration: April 30, 2027

Salary and Benefits: NPR 30,000 ‍‌

Roles and Responsibilities

  •  Engage and mobilize youth clubs based in Bethanchowk Rural Municipality, Kavrepalanchowk.
  •  Prepare, mentor, and empower youths through regular guidance, confidence-building activities, leadership support, teamwork, life skills, communication skills, and personal development sessions.
  •    Conduct and support training sessions/workshops on youth leadership, public communication, English language skills, SDGs, climate change, environmental protection, waste management, digital citizenship, cyber safety, good habits, career guidance, and mental health awareness.
  • Support development and dissemination of IEC materials on life skills, good habits, cyber-crime awareness, climate change, adaptation, mitigation, and other youth-friendly awareness topics.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders including the teachers, school administration, trainers, local authorities, parents, youth club members.
  •  Maintain documentation, monitoring, and reporting of youth meetings, trainings, campaigns, attendance, photographs, feedback, learning outcomes, success stories, challenges, and submit timely reports to the Program Manager.

Qualification

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, Development Studies, Environmental Science, Rural Development, Sociology, or any relevant field.

Skills:

  •  Excellent knowledge of community-based and participatory project implementation.
  • Strong English and Nepali language skills, including speaking, writing, and reporting.
  • Good ability to design, plan, implement, and monitor project activities.
  •  Ability to manage, motivate, and work with diverse youth groups and stakeholders.
  • Leadership skills to promote teamwork, inclusion, collaboration, and innovation.Advanced computer skills, including MS Word,
  • Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and online meeting platforms such as Zoom, Skype, or Microsoft Teams.
