Managerial Role – Information Technology

In this Managerial Position – IT, you will safeguard and elevate our tech ecosystem—managing IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, information security, and regulatory compliance. You will ensure seamless business operations while pioneering innovative technological solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic IT Leadership: Plan, execute, and monitor IT strategies, departmental operations, and annual tech budgets.
Infrastructure & Cloud: Oversee servers, enterprise networks, databases, cloud platforms, backups, and disaster recovery.
Cybersecurity & Compliance: Develop and enforce ICT security standards, access controls, and risk management policies while ensuring compliance with Nepal Insurance Authority (NIA) regulations.
Systems & Software: Supervise software development, system implementations, core updates, and change management.
Vendor & Asset Management: Oversee procurement, contract negotiations, vendor performance, and IT asset life cycles.
Team Empowerment: Lead, mentor, and evaluate the IT team while building a strong culture of cybersecurity awareness.
Digital Transformation: Research and deploy emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience: 5–7 years of relevant IT experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Sector Advantage: Experience in Insurance, Banking, Financial Institutions, or FinTech is strongly preferred.
