Job Description

The Project Coordinator – Programme & Stakeholder Coordination will be a Nepal-based member of the local convening support team, working closely with MEASA Secretariat and Programme Committee to support the planning and delivery of the National and Regional Convening.

The role will provide day-to-day local coordination support for programme-related activities, stakeholder engagement, communications and documentation, ensuring that the convening programme remains aligned with the objectives, processes, standards and expectations of the MEASA Secretariat. Key Responsibilities

Programme Coordination

  • Support the MEASA Secretariat and Programme Committee in planning and coordinating programme-related activities for the convening.
  • Attend internal planning meetings, programme check-ins and external stakeholder engagements as required.
  • Support in maintaining programme timelines, action trackers and follow-up on agreed deliverables.
  • Support coordination with speakers, facilitators, artists, partners and other programme contributors.
  • Assist with the collection and consolidation of speaker profiles, session information, biographies, presentations and other programme materials.
  • Flag programme-related risks, delays or gaps to the MEASA Secretariat and relevant committee members.

Stakeholder Communication & Coordination

  • Serve as a local Nepal-based coordination point for programme-related communication, working with MEASA Secretariat.
  • Support ongoing communication with local partners, networks, speakers, facilitators and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate local follow-ups and logistical requirements arising from programme discussions.
  • Ensure that agreed information and decisions are communicated to relevant local stakeholders promptly.

Documentation & Communications

  • Support the preparation, compilation and finalisation of the convening report and other post-event documentation.
  • Coordinate inputs for policy briefs, media/press materials, programme summaries and related communications outputs.
  • Maintain organised records of programme decisions, correspondence, materials and deliverables.
  • Support documentation of key programme activities and outcomes during the convening.

During the Convening

  • Provide on-site programme coordination support to the MEASA Secretariat and Programme Committee.
  • Support speakers, facilitators and session leads with programme-related needs.
  • Help coordinate session timings, speaker movements and programme changes.
  • Support rapid communication and troubleshooting of programme-related issues.
