Position: Lab Assistant
Location: Amlekhgunj
Job Description
- Test and clear incoming base oils, additives, and packaging against Gulf specifications before releasing them for blending.
- Draw and test samples at every blending stage to confirm the batch is on target before it moves forward.
- Run the full finished-product test panel and certify each batch with a Certificate of Analysis per GLUQS standards.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain sophisticated lab instruments strictly per OEM and Gulf Guideline protocols.
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready test logs, calibration records, and batch reports for full traceability.
- Ensure every test method and acceptance criterion strictly follows the Gulf Guideline and GLUQS manual.
- Store retention samples and use them to investigate market complaints or off-spec batches.
- Follow safe chemical handling, lab housekeeping (5S), and PPE protocols to protect equipment and staff.
Requirements:
- 2 yrs experience in Lab with related field
- Bachelors in Chemistry
