Position: Associate Data Engineer

Job Description

• Design, build, and maintain efficient data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Support the development and management of scalable data warehouses and data marts for analytics and reporting needs.
• Assist in applying DataOps principles to ensure data reliability, automation, and observability of workflows.
• Work closely with BI teams to gather requirements and deliver integrated reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI/Apache super set Report Server (on-premises).
• Help implement data security best practices, including role-based access controls, across platforms.
• Analyze datasets to uncover insights, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making across business units.
• Contribute to the automation of manual data workflows and optimization of existing data delivery pipelines.
• Assist in developing anomaly detection and intelligent alerting systems for monitoring data pipeline health.
• Participate in the architecture of distributed systems and scalable storage solutions to support enterprise-grade data environments.

Job Specifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Up to 3 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, ETL development, or database management.
• Understanding of SQL, data warehousing concepts, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Familiarity with tools such as Apache super set, Power BI, SSIS, or Python is a plus.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and big data technologies is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and grow within a dynamic data environment.
