The Pandemic Preparedness Toolkit (PPT) project is a five-year initiative (2023–2028) that aims to co-create an accessible and sustainable toolkit to strengthen the role of National Statistical Offices (NSOs) in infectious disease surveillance. The project seeks to harness and enhance the expertise of NSOs to add value to existing surveillance systems. It is being implemented under the leadership of Nepal’s National Statistics Office, in collaboration with HERD International.

Public Acceptability Survey is one of the main activities of PPT project which aims to understand the public acceptability of infectious disease surveillance and the acceptability of using their data, from a variety of sources, for broader statistical purposes.
