SCOPE OF WORK

The Campaign Trainee is responsible to provide support to the ICC Department on day to day basis. S/he will will support the planning, execution, and monitoring of communication strategies and campaigns. They will assist in content creation, moderating Girls Out Loud FB group, communicating with Youth Advisory Council members and event coordination while contributing to promoting children’s rights and gender equality.

Key Responsibilities:

Support in content creation

  • Create and curate engaging content for digital platforms, including social media posts, blogs, newsletters, TV screen, etc.
  • Design and develop visual materials such as banner, posters, certificates and simple videos to enhance campaign visibility.
  • Support in maintaining and updating the organization’s social media channels.
  • Moderate the Girls Out Loud private Facebook group, providing support to members by addressing their queries and requests.

Campaign support

  • Assist in planning and executing awareness and advocacy campaigns aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Collaborate with the team especially with our strategic partner organizations to develop innovative campaign strategies targeting key audiences.
  • Monitor campaign performance and prepare reports on effectiveness and engagement.
  • Support in translating campaign survey related survey questionnaires.
  • Participate in Global Hub and APAC regional campaign network meetings.

Event Coordination

  • Support the organization of events, webinars, and workshops related to communication and campaigns.
  • Document events through photography, videography, and written reports.

Monitoring and Reporting

  • Track and analyse social media metrics, audience engagement, and campaign outcomes of Girls Out Loud page in Facebook.
  • Prepare regular updates and content report of Girls Out Loud page.

Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support to the communication and campaign team as needed.
  • Maintain an organized repository of communication and campaign materials.

Requirement and Qualification:

The minimum requirement and qualifications are as follows:

  • Bachelor’s degree (completed or final year) in Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, Public Relations, or any field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Nepali.
  • Creative and resourceful in basic designing and implementing communication materials.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content management systems.
  • Basic knowledge in graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro) is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Prior experience (internship or volunteer work) in communications, campaigns, or social media management is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Passionate about children’s rights and gender equality.
  • Innovative thinker and proactive problem-solver.
  • Open to feedback and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.
