Group of Helping Hands (SAHAS) Nepal is a non-profit making non-governmental-organization founded in 1996 since then engaging social mobilization, grassroots organisation/Community-Based Network Organisation (CBNO) formation and enhancing their capacity through partnership and implementing diverse programme and projects in the sectors of sustainable agriculture and food security, climate change, and education in 21 districts of Nepal.
SAHAS Nepal is implementing various projects in Jahada Rural Municipality, Morang district. The projects are focused on agriculture; improve food security, education, livelihood support, youth development, nutrition for vulnerable, socially excluded and marginalized people.
SAHAS Nepal is looking the potential candidate for the following position for the Improving Food and Nutrition Security (IFNS) Project:
Position: Sub Overseer
Duty station: Jahada Rural Municipality, Morang district
Required number: 1
Academic qualification/experiences:
- TSLC/Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the recognized university
- At least 2 years of working experience in infrastructure base activities and implementation with survey, designing, estimate, constructive/renovation management
- Computer skills in Data-base package with knowledge of Auto CAD
Major responsibilities:
- Technical supervision and project’s activities implementation
- Planning, monitoring and report writing
- Strong coordination with the local government and community engagement
- Support the preparation and evaluation of infrastructure plan, providing constructive feedback to ensure alignment with project’s objectives
- Address technical issues on-site and ensure adherence to environmental standards
- Report to the supervisor and ensure accurate documentation
