Position: Application Support Engineer
Job Description
- Monitor the health and performance of core applications and software systems.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve software issues and ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
- Provide application support to dealers, technicians, vendors, and internal teams such as CARE, OSS and billing system.
- Manage support requests related to mobile apps and websites, including configuration and user-level troubleshooting
- Maintain detailed logs of issues, resolutions and system health checks for documentation and analysis.
- Perform QA testing for new features, modules, and updates before production deployment.
- Support the implementation and rollout of software to end users, including training and documentation when required.
Job Specification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Preferred: Minimum 1 year of experience in software testing or billing system operations.
- Strong understanding of software testing processes and implementation workflows.
- Ability to manage and complete assigned responsibilities within defined timelines
- Skilled in preparing technical documentation and process design materials
- Proficient in system diagnostics and resolving core software/system issues.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Commitment to timely execution of tasks and attention to detail.
