Position: Business Development Manager

Job Objective Summary

Business development of Scooters and Swapping Package

Job Purpose

  • Required to design the sales and management strategy, implement the same and drive the business in coordination with other team members.
  • Assess the sustainability and review the model periodically and delineate the revised strategy accordingly.

Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Development of Business Development Strategy on Scooter Sales/lease, Network Access Package
  • Pipeline generation and deployment of scooters.
  • Network Access Package, package designing and taking the same for sales.
  • Scaling up the same in timely manner.
  • Service Delivery and network pressure assessment and deployment of swap stations accordingly.
  • Overall supervision of show rooms, service center, network (swap stations) network package recovery and further expansion.
  • Arrangement of Staff, their development and supervision.
  • Strategic contribution in taking the business to sustainable growth path.
  • Coordinate and communication with partner organizations.
  • Taking up with matters for discussion and finalization with concerned units/individuals including Banks, PE firms and financing agencies.
  • Any other as per need since the position being the senior level position of the team.
  • Feedback to CEO/MD/Board on likely impact and any other pertinent development related to the business.
  • Support to CEO/MD/Board on overall running of the business.

Secondary Responsibilities:

· Network experience observation and feedback, and support to network manager.

· Customer engagement, service quality review and its enhancement.

· Overall Management as per the need.

· Any other as per the requirement.

  • Battery (EV) operation Modality of vehicle, particularly that of two wheelers/scooters.
  • Battery run business, battery and vehicle business idea.
  • Likely partners for the business and their area of partnership.
  • Prior minimum experience required for the role.
  • Financial Modelling and Model Development and Execution.
  • Knowledge of Excel, PPT and MSWord.

Key Qualifications Required

  • BBA/BBS with minimum of 3 GPA or MBA/MBS, BE with Management backed education will be an added advantage.

Authorities

  • Overall Management of Business in coordination from Board/MD/CEO.
  • Staff recruitment, development and deputation.
  • Sales and purchase decision within the approved parameter or as needed.
  • Any other as per the need/requirement.
