Value Chains for Inclusive Transformation of Agriculture Program

Value Chains for Inclusive Transformation of Agriculture Program (VITA) is executed by Agricultural Development Bank Ltd (ADBL) as a lead program agency under the grant support of International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). The Project is being implemented in Bagmati, Lumbini and Madhesh Province covering 28 districts with aim to improve livelihoods and nutrition status of poor and vulnerable people. In addition to this, the project aims to establish agriculture farm enterprises by increasing agricultural production and strengthening market linkages and access to rural financial services. The project has been identified as high priority program for the Government of Nepal by allocating fund through its current annual budget and program.

VITA invites application from qualified Nepalese professionals for the following positions:

Focal Person (Technical) Coordinator

No.: 1 (One)
Duty Station: ADBL Head Office with frequent field visits to project areas
Required Qualifications and Work Experience: Master’s Degree in Agribusiness Development, Business Administration, Agriculture Sciences, Economics or equivalent with at least 5 years work experience or Bachelor’s degree with 7 years work experience on supply chain development, business promotion, financial institutions and liaison with concern stakeholders.


Focal Person (Liaison) Officer

No.: 1 (One)
Duty Station: ADBL Head Office with frequent field visits to project areas
Required Qualifications and Work Experience: Master’s Degree in Agricultural Sciences, Business Administration, Agribusiness Development, Economics or equivalent with at least 3 years experience or Bachelor’s degree with 5 years experience on supply chain development, business promotion, private sector development, liaison or similar field.


Supply Chain Officer

No.: 12 (Twelve)
Duty Station: Province Offices of ADBL with frequent field visits to project areas
Required Qualifications and Work Experience: Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences, Business Administration, Agribusiness Development , Economics or equivalent with at least 3 years experience or Bachelor’s degree with 5 years experience on supply chain development, business promotion, private sector development, social sector or NGOs/INGOs.


Assistant Finance Officer

No.: 1 (One)
Duty Station: Finance and Planning Department of ADBL Head Office with frequent field visits to project areas
Required Qualifications and Work Experience: Master’s degree in Commerce/Accountancy/Business Management or equivalent with at least 1 year experience or Bachelor’s degree with 3 years’ experience on financial accounting of project/company.
