POSITION OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible fordeveloping sophisticated financial models, preparing insightful reports, and supporting strategic projects, including investment evaluations and IPO processes. He/She will play a vital role in driving strategic financial initiatives and delivering critical insights that inform management decisions and enhance overall business performance across different industries within the group. The role requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional with advanced technical proficiency in financial modeling, reporting tools, and data visualization platforms. The Assistant Manager will collaborate closely with senior leadership to monitor key financial metrics, identify performance improvement opportunities, and contribute to long-term financial planning and business growth strategies.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and performance metrics tracking for different industries under the group, to provide actionable insights to management.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and presentations using Advanced Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Power BI, and/or other relevant data visualization tools for internal stakeholders and board members.
  • Monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
  • Support strategic decision-making through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and profitability assessments.
  • Support investment analysis and communications with investors

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:

  • CA/CFA/ACCA/MBA

SKILLS/JOB SPECIFICATION:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, investment banking, or a related field.
  • Direct experience in at least one IPO listing is a significant advantage.
  • Demonstrable experience with project finance structures and deal execution.
  • Financial Modelling: Proven expertise in building robust, dynamic, and complex financial models from scratch, including forecasting, and sensitivity analysis.
  • IPO Document Drafting: Demonstrated ability to prepare clear, accurate, and compliant IPO-related documentation.
  • Advanced Excel: High proficiency in complex formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and automation
  • Presentation & Visualization Tools: Expert-level skills in creating impactful presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint and hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or others
  • SAP Experience: Understanding of SAP reporting modules and proficiency in extracting relevant financial reports
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
