Position: Communications and Documentation Associate (1)
Qualifications Required:
Education:
Completed Bachelor’s degree in the field of social sciences, development studies or community development (candidates currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with exceptional skills may also apply)
Skills and Experience:
- Strong writing skills in both Nepali and English.
- Proficiency in report writing, needs assessment, grant proposal writing, and project management.
- Proficient in MS Office packages.
- Basic research skills and familiarity with research tools.
- Ability to use design tools such as Adobe and Canva to create communication content.
- Knowledge of social media and website management is an asset.
- At least 1 years of experience in the nonprofit sector.

Responsibilities:
Communication and Documentation:
- Develop and manage internal and external communications, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with the organization’s goals.
- Write and edit reports, newsletters, ICE materials, and other communication materials.
- Assist in the creation of grant proposals and needs assessments to support fundraising efforts.
Content Creation and Design:
- Use design tools such as Adobe or Canva to create visually appealing communication content and video production.
- Manage social media accounts and website content to enhance the organization’s online presence.
Research and Analysis:
- Conduct basic research and utilize research tools to gather relevant data and insights.
- Analyze data to support the development of reports, proposals, and other documentation.
Project Management:
- Support project management activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective implementation of projects.
