Position: Account Officer

Position Overview: An Account Officer is responsible for managing a company’s financial records by recording transactions, processing payments, tracking accounts receivable and payable, ensuring accuracy of financial data, and generating financial reports, essentially overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations of an organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure real time and same day bank receipt entries for service, parts and vehicles.
- Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, and expenses.
- Follow up on outstanding payments from customers and ensure timely collections.
- Proper filing for the petty cash vouchers.
- Ensure TDS on sales timely deposited and E-TDS done by customers.
- Prepare branch expense chart and compare month to month variance with remarks.
Qualification & Skill:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the automobile sector or a retail business.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, taxation, and compliance.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
