Position: Cluster (Business) Manager – Retail Store Operations
Role Purpose:
The Cluster (Business) Manager will be developed into a commercially driven retail leader responsible for managing the overall performance of a cluster of stores, driving sales, profitability, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction through strong leadership and analytical capabilities.

Location: Multiple Store Locations within Kathmandu Valley – Cluster-Based (Field Based Job)
Working Pattern: 3-Days Opening Shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) and 3-Days Closing Shift (1:00 PM – 9:00 PM)
TRAINING PERIOD:
Selected candidates will undergo a 12-month Cluster (Business) Manager Development Program with hands-on, ground-up training across multiple Bigmart stores, covering customer service, sales, billing, inventory, shelf maintenance, product handling, fresh produce, store operations, team management, profitability, and people leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive sales growth, profitability, and overall cluster performance while monitoring Sales Growth, L2L Growth, Gross Margin, PBHC, and cost productivity.
- Identify business opportunities and implement recovery plans for underperforming stores.
- Collaborate with Category, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and IT to achieve business goals.
- Develop Store Managers through coaching, performance reviews, and succession planning.
- Drive commercial initiatives, promotions, and customer growth strategies.
- Analyze performance, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions, supported by regular store visits and business reviews.
- Ensure consistent operational and business standards while fostering accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management (BBA, BBM, BBS, BIM); Finance specialization is an advantage.
- Good academic performance in Mathematics or related subjects at Bachelor’s level.
Experience:
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in MIS, Analytics, Business Applications, or data-driven functions preferred, with strong academic, leadership, and business skills.
- Freshers with strong analytical skills encouraged to apply.
