Business Development Officer

Job Description

  • Conduct market visits to engage with potential clients and advertising agencies, fostering strong professional relationships.
  • Achieve assigned advertisement sales targets set by the department.
  • Drive revenue generation through ad space sales and sponsorships for various sports events.
  • Develop tailored advertisement proposals and budget plans to meet the needs of new clients.
  • Maximize revenue by promoting and selling advertisement space across Dishhome exclusive channels, Dishhome properties, Dishhome Go, and all other advertising verticals.
  • Follow up with clients through multiple communication channels, including in-person visits, calls, emails, WhatsApp, Messenger, or Zoom meetings.
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends, competitors, and other relevant information to craft effective marketing strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Educate clients about advertising options, formats, and features, providing samples of previous successful campaigns.
  • Prepare advertisement schedules based on client requirements (RO) and coordinate with the MCR/PCR team to ensure accurate ad placements.
  • Handle all correspondence and administrative tasks related to advertisements, ensuring smooth operations and client satisfaction.

Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3.5 years of experience or a master’s degree with at least 2 years of experience in Corporate Sales.
  • Prior experience in the television industry, advertising agencies, or media houses is highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong presentation and report-writing abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in negotiation and confident in making sound decisions.
