Food and Beverage Service (Captain)
Duties/Responsibilities Attributes
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service techniques, and customer service. Should have knowledge of wines and spirits.
- Ensure to provide proficient and professional Food & Beverage service to the guests by meeting and also exceeding their expectations.
- Welcome the guests by greeting them as per the standards an visits the guests in the tables occupied, to confirm guest satisfaction with each food course and beverages. Handles guest complains professionally and satisfactorily.
- Ensure to attend to guest complaints, requests or inquiries regarding the food and services. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations.
- Establish and maintain seamless co-ordination & co-operation with all department’s productivity, morale and guest service.
- Records the daily service transaction and cover count of the outlet at the end of each shift, in the absence of the Supervisor.
- Communicates to the immediate superior and subordinates in a timely manner, any important information related to operation.
- Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Capable of implementing consistently in his/her shift all the service standards established for the outlet.
- Ensure cleanliness of work areas, cutlery, crockery throughout the shift.
- Well Groomed, Menu Knowledge, Good Communication Skill.
- Duties assigned according to the Manager.
