Plant Head-Hydro Power
Location: Birethanti, Nepal
Qualification | Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in hydropower plant operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong understanding of hydropower generation processes, equipment, and maintenance practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage overall plant operations to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable energy generation
- Lead maintenance activities to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
- Analyze plant performance data to identify and implement operational improvements
- Supervise and guide a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and support staff
- Ensure strict compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including local bodies, contractors, and vendors
- Drive innovation and improvements in plant systems and processes
