Qualifications/Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field with 5+ years of managerial procurement experience. Strong negotiation skills, leadership abilities, and knowledge of procurement regulations essential.
Responsibilities
- Lead supplier selection, ensuring quality and timely delivery of products while enhancing strong vendor relationships
- Work with suppliers to negotiate favorable prices and terms while complying with legal and regulatory guidelines.
- Strategize cost-saving initiatives, analyzing market conditions to optimize procurement processes.
- Mitigate procurement risks, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure ethical supply chain practices.
- Monitor supplier performance and respond quickly to any concerns or complaints, ensuring that suppliers meet the agreed-upon standards and performance indicators.
- Evaluate team performance, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
