Job Requirement

Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Experience: At least 2 years’ of experience in the design of hydropower projects

Job Description

• Perform hydraulic design and prepare detailed civil drawings for various hydropower components including dams, spillways, tunnels, and penstocks.
• Carry out structural design and develop reinforcement (rebar) drawings ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Prepare accurate bill of quantities (BOQ) for project cost estimation and procurement processes.
• Supervise the construction activities of hydropower projects to ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Identify potential technical risks and provide practical solutions to mitigate challenges during design and construction.
• Monitor progress and quality of work on-site, conducting regular inspections and audits.
• Assist in preparing project schedules, cost estimates, and technical reports for clients.
• Ensure compliance with national and international codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards throughout project phases.
