Position: Civil/Design Engineer

Job Requirement

Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Experience: At least 2 years’ of experience in the design of hydropower projects
Deadline: 21 November, 2025 (during office hour)

Job Description

Perform hydraulic design and prepare detailed civil drawings for various hydropower components including dams, spillways, tunnels, and penstocks.
Carry out structural design and develop reinforcement (rebar) drawings ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Prepare accurate bill of quantities (BOQ) for project cost estimation and procurement processes.
Supervise the construction activities of hydropower projects to ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Identify potential technical risks and provide practical solutions to mitigate challenges during design and construction.
Monitor progress and quality of work on-site, conducting regular inspections and audits.
Assist in preparing project schedules, cost estimates, and technical reports for clients.
Ensure compliance with national and international codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards throughout project phases.
