Job Summary:
The Digitization and BPR Officer shall be responsible for driving the digitization of business processes and leading initiatives to streamline and enhance operational efficiency. The job requires working closely with various departments to identify opportunities for process improvement, implement digital solutions, and ensure successful adoption and integration of new technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage digitization projects aimed at improving business processes and operational efficiency.
- Conduct comprehensive business process reviews to identify areas for improvement and re-engineering.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement process improvement strategies.
- Design and document new workflows and processes to enhance operational performance.
- Identify and evaluate digital tools and technologies that can improve business processes.
- Manage change initiatives and ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of implemented solutions and recommend further enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all process changes.
- Provide training and support to employees on new digital tools and processes.
- Prepare and present reports on project progress, outcomes, and benefits to senior management.
Required Job Knowledge and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of digitization principles and experience with digital transformation projects.
- Proficiency in process mapping and modeling tools (e.g., Visio, BPMN).
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of emerging digital technologies and trends.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
Prerequisites for applying:
- Minimum 2.5 CGPA or 2nd Division in Master’s Degree in Management or related field
- Age not exceeding 40 years as of 29th January 2025.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Digital Banking Department of reputed Commercial Bank.
Other Eligibility Criteria:
- In case of any educational qualification from foreign Universities /institutions, equivalence certificate from competent authority of Nepal is a must.
- Candidate applying for any above position must be willing to work anywhere in Nepal as per the Bank’s requirement.
All candidates must be proficient in written/spoken Nepali and English language and be computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office applications. Candidates are expected to have smart and pleasant personality, be articulate with superior interpersonal skills and desire to excel. The candidates must have positive attitude and be a team player but be able to work independently and take initiatives.
