Disabled Care Nepal (DCN)

Disabled Care Nepal (DCN) is a non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit organization working for the empowerment, rights, dignity, inclusion, and equal participation of persons with disabilities and their families. DCN works in livelihood, employment, financial literacy, digital banking, community-based rehabilitation, inclusive education, health, rehabilitation, and accessibility. DCN is currently implementing activities through its Nuwakot Branch to support persons with disabilities and their families affected by floods and other disasters. Applications are invited from motivated, responsible, and committed individuals for the following positions.

Position: Office and Field Assistant

Required Qualifications and Skills

Passed +2 in any discipline. Basic knowledge of office administration, documentation, and record keeping. Basic computer skills including MS Word, Excel, email, and internet. Good communication skills in Nepali and basic communication skills in English. Ability to type Nepali using Unicode and prepare basic letters, documents, lists, and records. Ability to work respectfully with persons with disabilities, their families, and community members. Willingness to support both office and field activities.

Key Responsibilities

Support the day-to-day administrative and office activities of the Nuwakot Branch. Maintain files, documents, registers, and office records. Assist in preparing letters, lists, forms, and other documents. Support field visits and community-level activities. Assist in logistics, communication, transportation, and other arrangements for program activities. Support staff during meetings, trainings, workshops, and other events. Assist with communication and coordination with beneficiaries and community members. Carry out messenger and other field-related duties as required.

Field Work: Regular travel to different locations within Nuwakot as required
