Position :Electrical Assistant

Job Description

Assist in installation, repair, and maintenance of plant machinery and electrical equipment.
Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance of motors, control panels, and production lines.
Help troubleshoot electrical faults, short circuits, motor failures, and other issues under supervision.
Support in maintaining electrical panels, switchgear, MCCs, and PLC-based systems as guided.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, tools used, and downtime logs.
Follow plant safety protocols, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Coordinate with production team for minimal disruption during maintenance activities.
Carry out emergency maintenance work during power outages or machine breakdowns.
Coordinate with civil and MEP, HVAC teams to avoid clashes and ensure smooth progress of electrical work.
Ensure that electrical works are carried out with due attention to safety procedures and codes.
Basic understanding of electrical drawings and site layouts, Support in identifying and reporting any defects, damages, or installation issues.
Assist in installation, routing, and termination of cables, conduits, panels, switches, sockets, and lighting fixtures, Support in pulling, laying, dressing, and fixing electrical cables and wires as per layout.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree
