Elevate is our highly selective six-month internship programme for exceptional university students and recent graduates who have already demonstrated strong academic achievement and the potential to succeed in a demanding, international environment.

With a limited number of places available, Elevate is designed for those who want to challenge themselves, learn quickly and build on the experience they have already gained.

You’ll join one of our corporate teams in Dubai, work alongside experienced colleagues and contribute to real business priorities while continuing to develop your skills.

The experience

You will:

Where could you join us?

Placements are available across Emirates and dnata in a range of corporate career areas:

• Finance & Audit: financial planning and analysis, internal audit and financial projects.
• Strategy, Data & Technology: strategy, business improvement, analytics, artificial intelligence and technology.
• People, Legal & Risk: human resources, legal, privacy, safety and workplace wellbeing.
• Commercial & Customer: commercial projects, loyalty, travel, cargo and customer experience.
• Operations: service delivery, operational planning and performance.

Projects will vary by placement. You could find yourself analysing data to inform a business decision, researching a strategic opportunity, exploring how AI can improve the way we work, or contributing to improvements in an employee or customer experience.

Qualification

Do you have what it takes to Elevate?

Places on Elevate are limited and selection will be highly competitive. We are looking for candidates who have already distinguished themselves through their academic achievements, previous experience and the way they approach challenges.

To be eligible, you must:

• Be in the final year of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or have graduated less than a year ago.
• Demonstrate a strong academic track record.
• Have completed at least one previous internship, ideally within a multinational or international organisation.
• Be available to work full-time in Dubai for six months.
• Have not previously completed an internship with the Emirates Group.

Beyond meeting the eligibility criteria, successful candidates will need to demonstrate:

• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
• Learning agility and the ability to get up to speed quickly.
• Initiative and ownership, with evidence of making things happen.
• Clear and confident communication.
• The ability to collaborate effectively with people from different backgrounds.
• A track record of achievement, whether through your studies, previous internships, extracurricular activities or other experiences.

We welcome candidates from a wide range of academic disciplines, including business, finance, economics, data and technology, engineering, law, human resources, psychology, communications, marketing, hospitality, tourism, supply chain, healthcare management and safety.

Some placements require a specific academic background.

Your six months in Dubai

For six months, Dubai will become your home as well as your workplace.

You’ll experience life at the heart of the Emirates Group, build connections with people from around the world and develop your professional experience in one of the world’s most international cities.

For candidates relocating to Dubai, we provide support with accommodation, travel and visa arrangements so you can focus on making the most of the experience.

Elevate is designed for a small cohort, and meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee progression through the selection process.

Our selection process is rigorous and includes online assessments and interviews designed to understand not only what you have achieved so far, but how you think, learn and approach challenges.

What we offer

Your Elevate package includes:

• AED 5,000 monthly salary.
• Accommodation: company-provided accommodation at Premier Inn Hotel, or an AED 2,000 monthly accommodation allowance.
• Flights: travel to Dubai at the start of your internship and home at the end.
