Reintegration of Returnee Migrant Workers (ReMi) project is a bilateral initiative of Governments of Nepal and Switzerland. The project contributes to the social and economic reintegration of returnee migrant workers in Nepal. The project is implemented by the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security; provincial line ministries and local governments in Koshi and Madhesh Provinces (visit https://remi.org.np/ for more information). Helvetas Nepal as Technical Assistance provider to the project invites applications from committed and experienced Nepali citizens for the following position:

Employment and Reintegration Services Coordinator – 1

Duty Station: Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security (MoLESS), Singhadurbar, Kathmandu

Job purpose: The primary purpose of this position is to work closely with MoLESS to support policy, guidelines and procedures that enhance efficient and effective reintegration service delivery in reintegration of returnee migrants. The role aims to strengthen the Employment Service Centers (ESC) to ensure its full function and provide holistic and quality services on labour, employment, migration and reintegration. Additionally, it involves contributing to the promotion of productive domestic and foreign employment opportunities, fostering synergies with related development partners and private sector.

Required Professional Education, Experience and Social Competencies: Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Development Cooperation or in any relevant discipline. Minimum 5 years of working experience in a project/ programme with at least 3 years dedicated experience in employment services or governance. Having experience in labour migration and private sector engagement projects will be an added value. Commitment towards gender equality, social inclusion and poverty reduction; and sensitivity towards migrant workers and their families.

Duration: Till 15th July 2026 (with possibility of extension).
