Sundar Dhoka Saathi Sewa (SDSS) is a registered non-governmental organization in Lalitpur district that aims to make positive changes in the life of children and people with disability, people suffering from specific health difficulties. It provides patient navigation services to specific health need people from remote areas of Nepal and has many others project to reach out “The least of these”

The “Devasted Earthquake” that occurred on 3rd November 2023 caused widespread damage, destruction, and death throughout Rukum and Jajarkot districts of west Nepal. We SDSS are deeply saddened to see the loss of life and damage caused by it. In this difficulty SDSS want to stand together with the Government of Nepal to start immediate restoration work in affected municipalities.
Looking for the following candidate:
Field Coordinator (Earthquake Response)
Number of Vacancies: 1
Work Station: Rukum and Jajarkot of west Nepal
Appointment Type: Full Time for 4 months with possibility of extension
Required Qualification: Master/Bachelors Degree in Humanities/ Social Science
Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management, preferable experience on Emergency and Disaster response.
Language: Nepali and English in speaking, reading and writing are required
Preferable: Preference will be given to the local candidates. Candidates from disadvantaged groups and women are encouraged to apply.
Requirements:
- Familiar with computer software: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skill
- Competent in English and Nepali typing.
- Field coordinator will be managing self and needed stakeholders for sustaining activities that includes rehab care for person with disabilities, temporary shelters management for families with disabilities and other needed support based on community request.
