SheLeads Skills and Empowerment project is designed to address systemic and legal challenges faced by young women and girls in Madhesh Province. It aims to support access to skill development and entrepreneurship opportunities, thereby addressing barriers to economic access and fostering transformative change. The project focuses on vocational skills (short-, medium-, and long-term dual VET), results-based financing, enterprise development, financial inclusion, and youth engagement in local governance projects and initiatives. This project is financially supported by a Swiss Foundation, Ursula Zindel Hiliti Foundation and will be implemented in three different municipalities of Madhesh province namely, Karjanha, Lahan and Ganeshmancharnath. Helvetas Nepal invites applications from competent and committed Nepali Citizens for the following positions:

Finance and Operations Officer – 1

Job purpose: The Finance and Operations Officer is responsible for the smooth execution of overall financial, administrative, and human resources management of the project. The Finance and Operations Officer shall also be responsible for supporting and monitoring the partners for proper financial management of the project. S/he shall act as the human resources focal person of the project.

Required Education, Experience, and Social Competence: Bachelor’s degree in business administration/ management or commerce with Finance/Accounting as a major subject. Minimum 3 years of work experience in similar field. Commitment towards gender equality, social inclusion, poverty reduction.

Duty station for the position: Helvetas Nepal Country Office, Bakhundol, Lalitpur, Bagmati Province

Duration: Initially one year with a possibility of extension.

Salary and Benefits: As per rules and regulation of Helvetas Nepal.
