Job Description
The Finance Manager is responsible to lead, manage and oversee the organization’s financials, accounting, reporting, budgeting, compliance, treasury function, procurement, administration, regulatory and governance functions to ensure strategic alignment, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and strong financial governance in line with NCHL’s mandate as a national payment system infrastructure.
Job Specification
- At least Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, or related field (CA/ACCA) preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, audit, and compliance roles, with at least 5 years at managerial level in a company involved in banking, fintech, payment systems, or regulated entities. .
- Strong knowledge of Nepalese tax laws, Companies Act, and NRB directives/ regulations and Financial reporting standards, audit processes, payment systems,
Manage overall financial and investment decisions. - Review annual budgets and monitor utilization with periodic reporting..
- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with variance analysis.
- Lead and coordinate internal, statutory, and related audits.
- Ensure timely and accurate statutory filings with IRD, NRB, OCR, and other regulators.
- Develop, review, and regularize financial policies, SOPs, and reporting frameworks.
- Oversee administrative policies, procurement processes, asset management, and office operations.
- Proven leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environment is crucial.
