Job Description:
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting and Record Keeping
- Petty cash payment and maintain up to date records and prepare petty cash voucher
- Ensure bank deposits of refund amount by employee and maintain up to date records.
- Assist the Field Finance team to Settlement monthly financial report of Partner NGOs and WVI Nepal West Field office.
- Prepare journal vouchers of and hold into Sun System as guided by Supervisor of Field office financial transaction.
- Assist in the Field Finance team in Risk base financial Monitoring (RBFM) as required.
Filing and Documentation
- Maintain a systematic filing system of key documents of financial transaction (in hard copy and soft copy) as per FFM manual.
- Assist in tracking and recording original invoices from staff and vendors.
- Assist in compiling monthly management report from partner NGOs finance.
- Assist in original Invoice dispatch to National office from field office periodically.
Payment on time
- Assist Field Finance team to record employee EER (Employee Expenses Report) in accordance with the WV FM Guidelines.
- Assist in in time payment petty cash related expenses with proper calculation and track day to day for smooth administration function.
- Support collecting authorized payment documents from Supply Chain Management team and checking, calculation for further process for payment as per the WVIN standard accounting procedures.
Tax administration
- Assist in preparing tax details for deposit and verify TAX and VAT documents.
- Assist the Finance team to provide eTDS certificates to suppliers as per need.
Support to Operation/Program
- Assist a field finance team in Workshop/Event/Training/ meeting as requirement basis in financial matter.
KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in management preferably with specialization in Finance.
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of accounting theory and financial management and documentation required. Experience in financial reporting is preferable.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office computer programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
