Project Lead

Duty Station: Kathmandu, & occasional travel to Koshi, Lumbini and Bagmati Province
Employment Type: Contract Based
Salary: NRs. 6/7 lakhs per annum

As the Project Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the career guidance programs within the context of Nepal. Your role will involve leading a team of professionals career counsellors and developing strategies to facilitate effective career guidance initiatives in provincial & local levels with the coordination and collaboration with local and provincial governments of Koshi, Lumbini and Bagmati Province. Essentials & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Psychology. Relevant certifications in counselling psychology would be an asset
  • Proven experience in training conduction, leadership roles and managing overall project.
  • Able to identify key focus areas, set achievable objectives, and measure the success of implemented strategies.
  • Proficient in using digital tools, analytics platforms, and content management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for various marketing channels.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas for project campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Should have 7+ years of experience working on career counselling sector.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strong and effective leadership to the project team. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, ensuring team members are motivated and empowered to achieve their objectives.
  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of assigned programs. Monitor progress, identify challenges, and make necessary adjustments to ensure program effectiveness.
  • Develop comprehensive strategies for programs that align with the company’s objectives and are tailored to the local context of Nepal.
  • Engage with government agencies, educational institutions, and private organizations to build partnerships and networks for collaborative efforts in promoting the program.
  • Conduct training programs to equip participants with the necessary skills to guide and support students in their career decisions.
  • Establish monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to track the impact of programs and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates on the progress of programs to the management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Keep up-to-date information of the latest developments in the field of assigned program to incorporate innovative and evidence-based approaches into the programs.
