Accounts Finance Officer
1. Financial Management: Overseeing the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded and managed.
2. Budgeting: Developing, managing, and tracking the company’s budgets. Monitoring actual spending against the budget to ensure effective financial management.
3. Financial Reporting: Preparing accurate and timely financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) for internal and external use.
4. Expense Monitoring: Reviewing and approving financial transactions, ensuring they align with the budget, and suggesting ways to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
5. Cash Flow Management: Monitoring cash flow and ensuring the organization has adequate liquidity to meet its obligations.
6. Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that the organization complies with relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and auditing requirements.
7. Financial Planning & Analysis: Analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights for strategic decision-making.
8. Tax Management: Preparing and submitting tax filings on time, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and finding opportunities for tax savings.
9. Internal Controls: Implementing and maintaining financial controls to protect the organization’s assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
10. Liaising with Auditors and External Stakeholders: Working with external auditors, regulators, and financial institutions as needed.
11. Risk Management: Identifying financial risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
