Job Description
- Own the end-to-end strategy and planning process for Nepal Operations, working closely with forecasting stakeholders from Commercials and Logistics teams in areas such as demand planning, capacity planning, customer experience and backlog management to optimize customer experience continuously
- Translate commercial forecasts to capacity and network operations requirements
- Identify initiatives for increasing speed of delivery and reducing delivery errors, using end-to-end performance data across all logistics business units
- Assist in implementation of financial models to project costs and determine the impacting business factors
- Assist in comparison of forecasted budgets to financial actuals, identifying reasons behind department performance and results
- Conduct feasibility & ROI analyses to support business units on various projects
- Lead daily, weekly, monthly cycles with all stakeholders
- Lead the alignment with Commercial teams to produce accurate sales forecasts, in-line with known operational constraints (capacity, hiring timelines, etc.)
- Work with Fulfillment and Logistics teams to determine inventory targets, hiring goals, and planning of daily operations in line with forecasts and network capability
- Develop and execute recommendations for supply/demand balance that achieve business line strategy
- Implement innovate tools to improve forecasting accuracy successfully
- Provide actionable insights into current delivery performance and improvement avenues
- Lead the end to end planning for key events like 11.11, or other Tier 1 campaigns
- Hold both Commercial and Operations management accountable for deviations from agreed forecasts or capacity/network expansion plans, and resultant decrease in operational efficiency and costs, escalating to the COO and MD as needed
- Mentor, develop and train a team of Analysts to drive better business understanding and increased efficiencies
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree with 4-5+ years’ experience in planning, operations with data analytics experience with outstanding results in Business/Economics
- Outstanding analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate with different stakeholders successfully
- Detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow through on issues
- Strong program management skills and ability to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment
- Adaptive to changing scope and evolving business environments
