Social Media Officer
Responsibilities:
1. Developing engaging and relevant content such as posts, images, videos, and stories tailored to each social media platform.
2. Maintaining a consistent presence on social media channels by scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and monitoring trends.
3. Analyzing social media metrics and performance to track the effectiveness of campaigns, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve engagement and reach.
4. Planning, executing, and monitoring social media campaigns to promote products, services, events, or initiatives and achieve specific goals or objectives.
5. Ensuring that all social media content aligns with the organization’s brand voice, guidelines, and values to maintain a consistent brand identity across platforms.
6. Collaborating with internal teams such as marketing, communications, and customer service to coordinate social media efforts and support overall business objectives.
7. Stay up-to-date with social media trends, algorithms, best practices, and emerging platforms to implement innovative strategies and tactics.
8. Monitoring social media for any potential issues or negative feedback and responding promptly and appropriately to mitigate reputational risks.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
2. Proven experience in social media management, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
3. Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics tools.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative content ideas.
6. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
7. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
8. Familiarity with graphic design and video editing tools is a plus.
9. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
10. Demonstrated passion for social media and staying updated on industry trends and developments.
