 Workspace Location : K.M.P ward no.13 (near Hyatt Place Kathmandu)

 Salary: Around USD 250~350 gross per month

* Decided depending on qualification and experience

 Hours: Full time

 Contract: 1 Year fixed-term with the possibility of extension

1. Job Details

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Nepal is looking for an administrative staff who will clean and maintain the residence of the Ambassador to meet sanitation requirements and provide a comfortable space for the Ambassador and a presentable meeting space for guests. The staff will also support chef at the residence.

2. Job Responsibilities

  • Taking general care of the residence
  • Assisting in managing facilities on the premises
  • Assisting chef of the residence of the Ambassador
  • Other administrative or maintenance jobs at the residence and the embassy, if required

3. Requirements

  • English speaking and listening ability
  • Experience in housekeeping work
  • Ability to maintain the residence to a high standard of cleanliness
  • Reliable, punctual and detailed oriented
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

4. Desirable

  • Korean speaking and listening ability
  • Cooking experience

5. Working Hours and Contract Period

  •  Working Hours: Monday to Friday (09:00-17:00)

– Rest Breaks: 12:00-13:30

– Overtime work (paid) may be needed depending on the workload.

  • Contract Period: One-year contract including a probation period of three months.
  •  The contract will be renewable yearly based on work performance.
  • Expected date to start work: End of November 2024

– Unless there is any delay in a background check and security clearance.

6. Benefits

  • Basic Salary
  • Yearly Bonus: Amount equivalent to one month’s salary

– If the employee has worked for over three months.
