Executive Chef
We are looking for highly motivated individuals, self-driven and result-oriented personal with excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills, as well an outgoing personality, for the position of Executive Chef.
The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt Hotels Corporation’s strategies and standards, whilst meeting the hotel’s associates’, guests’ and owner’s expectations. The Executive Chef functions as the Production Manager for the Food and Beverage Department, ensuring that all the outlets and events operate successfully and in accordance with the standards of the hotel, as well as making sure they are individually profitable. Job specifications for the position are as listed below:
- Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.
- Minimum three years ‘work experience as Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a larger operation with total 12-15 years’ of culinary field in a hotel with relevant knowledge in International cuisine such as European/Italian/Indian/Mediterranean/Asian etc..
- Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards.
- Good computer skills in MS Office, and Recipe Maintenance Systems are preferred.
- Good practical, operational and adequate administrative skills, with a flair for creativity, are a must.
