Position Summary

The Business Planner will work closely with the Executive Director to develop, implement, and monitor strategic business plans and initiatives. The successful candidate will analyze market trends, financial data, and operational performance to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation. This role requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Major Roles And Responsibilities (Job Details)

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop and execute strategic business plans in alignment with company objectives.
• Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, competitive landscape, and industry dynamics to identify opportunities and risks.
• Prepare comprehensive business cases, financial models, and feasibility studies to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of business strategies and initiatives.
• Provide regular reports and presentations to ED, highlighting insights, recommendations, and progress against goals.
• Support the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization, optimizing processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay informed about relevant regulatory changes, economic developments, and emerging trends impacting the business.

Job Specifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in strategic planning, business analysis, or management consulting roles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and business intelligence tools.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and influence across all levels of the organization.
