KIRDARC Nepal has been working in Kapilvastu District for many years, implementing integrated community development initiatives. Currently, we are implementing the Building Empowered and Resilient Communities by Strengthening Livelihoods, Inclusion, Education and Food Security (BELIEF) Project in Shivaraj and Buddhabhumi Municipalities with support from the Stromme Foundation. The project aims to strengthen livelihoods, improve access to and retention in school, enhance the quality of education for marginalized children, and promote inclusive education in line with the School Education Sector Plan (SESP). We invite applications from qualified, dynamic, and motivated Nepali citizens for the following full-time position.

Position Title: Project Coordinator (1 Position, based in Chandrauta, Kapilbastu District)

Academic Qualification and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in agriculture science, Business Studies, or a related field with at least five years of experience managing multiple projects and diverse teams, or a master’s degree in a relevant field (Agriculture Science or Business Studies preferred) with at least three years of relevant experience. Candidates should have demonstrated experience in risk management, governance, and achieving strategic outcomes, along with experience working to promote the wellbeing of children in development and/or humanitarian (emergency) contexts.

Sector Knowledge and Skills: Strong technical knowledge and experience in the relevant sector, including data and information management; proven experience in project and financial management; demonstrated ability to lead and manage diverse teams to deliver quality results within stipulated timelines; excellent presentation and reporting skills with the ability to communicate achievements, challenges, and evidence using qualitative and quantitative data; and prior experience in the livelihoods sector will be considered a distinct advantage.
