Forum for Women, Law and Development (FWLD) is an autonomous, non-profit, non-governmental organization established on May 29, 1995 for the protection, promotion and enjoyment of women’s rights, children’s rights, minorities’ rights and the rights of marginalized groups. FWLD envisions a world where human rights are fully realized where social injustice and discrimination are eradicated, and where equality prevails. To achieve it, FWLD has been constantly working to change the discriminatory laws and the discrimination embedded in society and culture.

About the project: FWLD is seeking Knowledge Management and Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting Expert for the anticipated project “Comprehensive Capacity Development Support to Women Parliamentarians at the federal and provincial level to advance Gender Responsive and Inclusive Governance” supported by UN Women. The 2-year project focuses on strengthening the capacity of women parliamentarians (ensuring intersectionality) at the federal and provincial level on the women’s rights instruments and create strategic allies of male parliamentarians at the federal and provincial level to advocate GESI agenda within the parliament and their own respective parties.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop knowledge product and human stories
  • Facilitate and substantively contribute to the development of monitoring indicators, monitoring calendars, and field monitoring plans and quality assurance processes;
  • Contribute to annual work plan monitoring, reviews and reporting;
  •  Coordinate with Programme Team to ensure that data collection and analysis from field visits are coordinated and standardized across programmes
  • Identify and disseminate good practices, lessons and knowledge, as identified through programme implementation, monitoring and evaluation of activities;
  • Contribute to the development of capacity development tools, including training materials and packages
  • Promote the awareness and understanding of the shared responsibility of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) among all staff members through communication, training, learning and development activities.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, information and knowledge management, communications, or a related technical field;
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in development planning, information and knowledge management, research and/or evaluation.
  • Demonstrable ability to conceptualize, plan and execute ideas as well as transfer knowledge and skills
  • Proven writing skills, with an ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, direct style;
