Service Incharge (Commercial EV Vehicles)

Role Description The Service In-charge – Commercial EV is responsible for managing end-to-end after-sales operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, service quality, and dealer support. The role focuses on achieving service targets, overseeing EV diagnostics, spare parts management, and compliance with safety and company standards, while minimizing downtime for fleet operators.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field. Candidate with Masters degree also preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in automotive service or repair, preferably with commercial EV.
• Strong knowledge of EV commercial vehicles and diagnostic tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment.
• Familiar with MS. Office Suite software packages.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive Service Center Sales Targets through direct and dealer channels with a strong focus on growing Commercial EV sales and after-sales service performance.
• Monitor and grow Spare Parts Retail & Wholesale Sales, ensuring availability of fast-moving EV consumables and critical components like batteries and controllers.
• Manage Repair Order (RO) generation by incorporating EV-specific services such as battery diagnostics and charging system troubleshooting.
• Improve first-time fix rates and reduce repeat jobs by standardizing EV service protocols, offering tailored service packages, and upskilling technicians.
• Maintain accurate EV spare parts inventory, optimize stock levels through forecasting, and ensure minimal downtime for commercial users.
• Ensure documentation accuracy, compliance with high-voltage safety, SOP’s and alignment with OEM and regulatory requirements for EV services.
• Support dealers with EV readiness, execute service promotions, and enhance customer satisfaction through training, feedback, and charging infrastructure support.
