Position: Officer- Marketing
Location: Kathmandu

Position Overview
This position is responsible for planning, executing, and managing end-to-end marketing initiatives including events, social media, campaigns, and vendor coordination. This role actively oversees on-ground activations, creates engaging digital content, and ensures smooth collaboration with external partners and internal teams. The officer also plays a key role in reporting, budget tracking, and performance analysis to support strategic marketing goals.
Roles and Responsibilities
Events Oversee & Management:
- Find doable location for housing/ corporate cafeteria events.
- Coordinate with the housing/corporate for stall placement- doable date, time, & space.
- Visit the place prior the event for recce and mostly for the advance payment & payment confirmation letter.
- Be there for onsite supervision to oversee the event setup, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Coordinate with third-party agency for the whereabouts of event and guide on what marketing materials to bring and what not to.
- Coordinate with the warehouse for event timings (pickup and closing).
- Work along with tele-sales team during the event.
- Provide post event marketing report for review.
Social Media Management/ Content Face/ Coordination with the agency:
- Decide on products & type of content to use in social media- what product to go into reel, design & image.
- Upload & keep up to date with social media stories.
- Coordinate with the warehouse for receiving shoot products
- Decide and purchase shoot items and props.
- Attend the shoots & be the face of the content/ social media.
- If it’s a recipe reel, responsible for making the recipe.
- Coordinate post shoot for content posting, product details (if its specific), and sudden changes
- Coordinate with the warehouse for returning shoot products.
Running Marketing Campaigns:
- Marketing campaign ideations and creating strategy that aligns with the idea.
- Coordinate on the activities to be done.
- Content Creation & Coordination- develop materials that support the campaign (e.g., social media, flyers, posters, etc.)
- Campaign launch- Overseeing the campaign launch, ensuring all elements are prepared and deployed on time.
- External Relation Coordination
- Coordinate with external relations for relevant works- vendors, collaborators & sponsorships; Above works include: follow up on our work status, project timelines, monitor progress, share feedback, resolve issues (at times) & payment.
- Coordination with vendors includes deciding on the type of marketing materials to be built or purchased.
- Coordinate in final touches of service agreements/ MoU with external clients specifying key details like the scope of services, timelines, fees, responsibilities, and personal details (in coordination with the legal team and external clients).
- Curate gift hampers when needed and buy those gift hamper accessories personally- This involves making sure that they are well-presented and relevant to the recipient.
- Coordinate with warehouse for gift hamper items.
- Monitor social media to see how recipients respond- tracking any mentions, tags, or posts where they showcase the hampers or express appreciation and use those in company’s socials.
In-house content writing (when required):
- Content Research & Development.
- Writing & Editing- Social media posts that are aligned with brand messaging & it includes- proofreading and ensuring all content is clear, concise, and free of errors.
- Content Distribution/ Posting across company’s channels- Facebook, Instagram, & Tiktok.
- Performance analysis of those content posted on digital channels- tracking engagement, impression, reach, conversions & feedback.
Report Preparation (Daily, Monthly & Quarterly):
- Prepare comprehensive report of the activities carried out by the marketing department throughout the month (Planned vs. Executed); Above includes providing full-fledged detail on campaigns, events, collaborations, social media content, performance tracking, and finance.
- Prepare Planned vs. Executed Expenditure- includes tracking and reporting on all the financial aspects of marketing activities – budget allocation per AOP, personal expenditures, and tracking costs for campaigns, events, and external services.
- For post-event reports-Evaluate footfall, impression, feedback, marketing activity, event performance, improvement areas, and follow up with tele-sales for sales data and lead generation.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Management or Any Field.
Required Skills
- 3 to 4 years of experience in the relevant field.
- Knowledge of using social media platforms
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Understanding of FMCG marketing dynamics
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong analytical skill.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and proactive.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
