MEAL Coordinator (Female Only) – Re-Vacancy

Community Self Reliance Centre (CSRC) is a non-profit making, non-governmental social organisation facilitating the land rights campaign since 1993 in Nepal. CSRC has been campaigning for comprehensive agrarian reform and the land rights of working farmers and tillers for more than three decades. Through this time, CSRC has worked to organize and raise consciousness amongst those deprived of land rights, build public opinion in favour of progressive land reform, and conduct action research related to land and agrarian issues. CSRC envisions creating a prosperous, democratic, and equitable Nepal where land management is just, and agrarian practices are sustainable.

PRATIBADDHA-III: “Whole of Society Approach for Increased Risk Ownership, Multi-Hazard Preparedness and Early Action in Hills Areas of Western Nepal” is an EU-funded project that is going to be implemented with the consortium approach by People in Need (PIN), Community Self-Reliance Centre (CSRC) and Save the Children International (SCI). It focuses on Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, targeting areas recently impacted by earthquake (EQ), predicted EQ impacts and its susceptibility to landslide risk. The project adopts a system-strengthening approach aiming to build capacities of the provincial government (PG) and local government (LG) to lead in developing a landslide disaster preparedness (DP) and early action (EA) framework, increasing the scope for its replication in non-targeted LGs in the case of future disasters. The project consists of three results, R1 reduces hazard exposure, R2 enhances multi-hazard EA for at-risk communities, and R3 acts crisis.
