Forum for Women, Law and Development (FWLD) is an autonomous, non-profit, non-governmental organization established on May 29, 1995 for the protection, promotion and enjoyment of women’s rights, children’s rights, minorities’ rights and the rights of marginalized groups. FWLD envisions a world where human rights are fully realized where social injustice and discrimination are eradicated, and where equality prevails. To achieve it, FWLD has been constantly working to change the discriminatory laws and the discrimination embedded in society and culture.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effectively monitor and evaluate the project under the supervision of the senior Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountably and Learning (MEAL) Officer.
  • Develop and implement a framework for monitoring and evaluation, including data analysis, reporting, and program management.
  • Regularly collect data to assess performance against predefined indicators.
  • Analyze and report project and program data to support decision-making.
  • Assist with project progress reporting, mid-term reviews, and final evaluations.
  • Collaborate with the Project Team to identify indicators, targets, and data collection methods.
  • Capture qualitative project outputs by identifying lessons learned and developing case studies.
  • Provide recommendations to improve project performance based on M&E findings.
  • Ensure compliance with donor requirements for monitoring and evaluation.
  • Identify areas where technical assistance is needed.
  • Support the program team in data management and analysis.
  • Produce high-quality reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Safeguard the security and confidentiality of project data.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, social science, development studies, or a related field with 3 years of experience of work experience in MEAL.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in law, social science, development studies, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar sector, preferably in an NGO setting.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in report writing.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with development issues.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
